Solta Medical, Alma Lasers answer Thermage service mark lawsuits

Solta Medical, Inc. (Nasdaq: SLTM), Alma Lasers Ltd. and Alma Lasers, Inc. today announced that they contain reached an deal resolving lawsuits involving confident Thermage® patents held beside Solta Medical.

The lawsuit was in filed on April 26, 2007 in the U.S. Territory Court in Delaware especially Alma Lasers seeking a ukase that nine Thermage patents were false and not infringed.  Solta Medical filed counterclaims alleging that unequivocal Alma systems appropriate for non-invasively upset stomach shell infringed 11 of its patents, and sought damages and injunctive alternate. The patents addressed in the lawsuit robe methods and devices in the direction of tightening husk and achieving other supportive improvements in shell and network structures, all without damaging the coat at first glance. Alma afterwards filed counterclaims alleging that all 11 patents which were asserted were not infringed and were not valid.
